Piering & formwork

Got a bit of a surprise today. There were some guys on site this monring. Couldn't tell much what they were doing, but went past on the way home to find the formwork started and piering has been completed! The materials for the slab - waffle pods, reo etc.. has also been delivered. I was expecting a call to tell me when they were doing the piers so I could be there to inspect/measure, but this did not occur, so at the moment I am unsure as to how many metres were used. We have allowed for 50 metres in the tender, and any extra is $80.00/metre. Guess we will just have to wait and see...
