Colours

We had our Pre-selections walkthrough on the 19th March 2013. This is an introduction to the process of choosing all of your colours and finishings. The real colour selections take almost a full day and we did this on the 15th May 2013.

To be honest, I think I/We were a little under prepeared, or more accurately overwhelmed, in that we really had no idea of the amount of choices we had to make. The one moment I remember, was when choosing the drawer handles. It took Kel and I a good 20-30 minutes just to choose the handles. Once we had settled on them, they hit us with 'and do you want them horizontal or vertical?'. Who'd of thought? :)

Anyway, without further ado, here is what we have chosen. Items marked with a $ are an upgrade from the standard offering.

External/Internal Colours

Bricks - Austral Whitsunday Orpheus

Roof: Colourbond - Monument. It actually appears a little darker than the swatch below

Fascia: Dune
Eaves: SurfMist($ extra external colour)
Gutters: Monument
Water tank: Monument
Garage door: B&D Contemporary in Monument
Window Frames: Monument Mat finish
Front door: Nexus NEX30 with translucent glazing. Painted in Dune
Internal walls: Taubmans Martini DW11

Kitchen, Bathroom and Ensuite

Colour Swatches

All benchtops including the island bench are Essastone in colour: New Sable Luxe.

Benchtops are all 20mm, except for the island bench which has 60mm edging($).

Floor tiles are Solna Nero with Misty grey grout. Full height tiling to bathroom and ensuite($).

Here is a couple of images depicting the benchtop colour against the floor tiles and the colour of the shutters. Oh, yes, shutters for all windows, except the stacker doors to the alfresco and the master suite. They will have roller blinds. The real colours are a lot darker than they appear in these images.
