Garage door installed

Today the garage door was installed! We also had a guy there to do the water proofing of the wet areas. Most of the cornice is installed now also

I was having a look around this afternoon and our site supervisor turned up to make sure it was all locked up. Apparently, one of the other houses had all of their internal wiring stolen before the gyprock went up! Anyway, as he was there, I took the opportunity to have a look around inside.

This is where the kitchen cupboards and oven will be. Heat shield plasterboard being pink..

Also, our neighbors had their site cut yesterday. Good news for us, is that they cut all the way to the boundary. This means, I no longer need a 1 metre+ retaining wall! I am guessing it looks around 600mm now.. Its not all that easy to see from the following pics though. One thing to remember is, that the ground will be filled to almost the slab level.

And here is a side on view now that the neighbours land was cut.

  2. Thanks Chris, I was a bit concerned about too much dark.. but I am loving the entire package! It is exactly as we envisaged. Well, once the downpipes are painted.. they will be the same colour.
