Gutters and Fascia

As was planned, the gutter and fascia was installed today. The brickies however left the site Saturday and took their gear. Seems they ran out of bricks.. again. This is the third extra pallet that has been delivered. Site Supervisor says they should be back on Saturday to finish off the brick work.

Also noticed the materials for the roofing have been delivered. The roof is booked to be installed Friday. Weather looking OK, although some storms and rain forecast for our area over the next couple of days.

  1. The fascia makes it look so much more complete!

  2. Yes, it does! Cant wait to see the roof on now ! :)

Just been looking at the side on shot, and I am not sure if it is the angle or not, but a couple of the outlets for the downpipes look like they are over the windows. Didn't have a lot of time to study on site today as we had to get back to take the girls for dancing. Ill have to have a closer look at that tomorrow. :)

  4. You're way well ahead, from what we can see. So much that it's really wise to take a step back and look at the laying down of the home building process, piece by piece, so that you can make sure that you don't miss any detail. Most especially in the set up of the essentials, such as gutters, which is a significant aid for homes in the time of duress wrought by unpredictable rainfall.
